The DSOM crew will be able to see the amazing snorkeling & diving offered on Bonaire with our chosen resort on Bonaire. This PADI five-star dive resort is conveniently located on our property to provide you with everything you need to explore the beautiful waters of Bonaire. We will enjoy up to 3 boat dives per day (10 Total Boat Dives) and unlimited shore diving. The resort has custom dive boats, gear storage, a fully equipped dive shop, and an experienced dive crew with more than 100 years of collective diving experience.
Bonaire is known for its award-winning shore diving, and as such, Bonaire offers you an amazing house reef to explore just a few feet from your room 24 hours a day. Prefer boat dives? About Captain Don’s Habitat: Total Diving Freedom has always been the concept at Captain Don’s Habitat. Over 50 world class dives are within a 15 minute boat ride. Diving Freedom means 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with no rush or anxiety. Take a giant stride off our divers-only pier “baby dock” and you’re already looking at clusters of starlet coral, surrounded by colorful wrasse and gobies, and the drop-off starts in 30 feet, only a few kicks away. Shore diving is a must at Captain Don’s Habitat and around the island of Bonaire rated as the top shore diving destination in the world! Following accepted safe diving practices, you can grab a tank and go….whenever you want!
Breakfast: served from 7 am to 10 am so whether you’re an early riser ready to catch a morning dive or prefer a more leisurely approach to your vacation you’ll get your eggs cooked fresh to order.
All the beautiful waters around Bonaire are designated as a Marine Park. The fact that anchoring, spearfishing, touching the corals, and removing anything from the reef is prohibited helps us keep our reefs healthy for you to enjoy. A $45.00 US fee online Only allows access to the Marine Park for the calendar year as well as entrance to the Washington-Slagbaai National Park (must show online receipt and photo I.D. at the entrance to the Park). In addition, all other users, i.e. swimmers, snorkeler’s, windsurfers, sport fishermen, kite boarders, etc. are required to pay a $25.00 annual fee. This fee also allows holders to enter the Washington-Slagbaai National Park however a $20.00 surcharge must be paid at the entrance to the park.
