The Dive Shop on McEver offers a full range of scuba diving classes. We offer scheduled class times as well as private and semi-private lessons for groups and individuals. The Dive Shop on McEver has been training divers in the Atlanta area since 2009. The Dive Shop on McEver is one of the few dive centers that offers training from entry level Open Water certifications to professional level Open Water SCUBA Instructor ratings from SDI, NAUI, and PADI

The Dive Shop on McEver has a professional staff that includes 8 Open Water SCUBA Instructors, 3 Technical Dive Instructors, and 4 Public Safety Dive Instructors. All of the educational staff has been active in the dive industry for many years. Many of our staff members have worked and instructed in some of the top diving destinations in the world. All of our educators have traveled extensively and bring a wealth of knowledge regarding diving destinations, diving conditions, underwater photography and marine life. The Dive Shop on McEver also offers Technical, Rebreather, and Public Safety courses for those divers looking for a new challenge.

The Dive Shop on McEver educational facilities are some of the best in Northeast Georgia. Confined water, or pool, sessions are held in an on-site, indoor, heated pool for comfort and convenience. Our unique aquatics center has the largest and deepest SCUBA training pool in Atlanta / Northeast Georgia and offers a changing room so that students can change out of wet gear once the session is finished.

SCUBA diving can be a “gear intensive” sport. Many years ago you could get your dive equipment in any color you wanted as long as it was black and you wanted the one make and model the local dive center had available. The Dive Shop on McEver has always been committed to offering the large selection of dive gear. We work with over 100 manufacturers of top quality dive equipment and stock a variety of models, sizes, and colors of both SCUBA and snorkeling equipment. In the event that we don’t have exactly what you are looking for, we can special order your item to insure that you are purchasing what you want, not just what’s in stock… and not just from one manufacturer.

The Dive Shop on McEver’s commitment to top quality dive gear extends to our rental gear. Our rental inventory contains top of the line Aqualung BCDs – complete with weight integration systems – high performance Apeks and Aqualung regulators, and Aqualung wetsuits. This is not older model low end gear. This is the same gear you will find on the showroom floors.
